The legendary chair commonly referred to as „UFO” is shrouded in mystery project. One can only assume that it was commissioned by a chain of hotels or restaurants in the 1950s in northern Poland. It is not known to this day who is behind this extremely interesting project and who the producer was, but most definitely it is not like any other back in those days. The frame is made of metal, 4 slim legs end with 4 wooden neat balls. It is most definitely a very original example of Space Age design in its best. The chair is newly upholstered (filled with seagrass) with a high quality fabric by a Danish brand „Kvadrat” (70% virgin wool, 30% viscose).
