This Polish chair, model 200-102, was designed by Maria Chomentowska in 1959. The design is pure in form and very practical in use. Ergonomically shaped seating and backrest are made of bent plywood. Lightly shaped frame is made of beach massif and features four tapered legs. The chair has achieved iconic status in Polish design history probably mainly due to the extraordinary transparency of the form. The chair is after professional renovation finished in oil which gives it warm and natural look. One piece available.
